I haven't blogged in a while because we have not had access to internet and sometimes cell phone service. Although, sometimes it just feels good to get away from everything. Yesterday we went out onto a lake in a rented boat with a small motor, we cruised around and took turns driving (I had never driven a boat like that before) it was so awesome! Later we went on a hike to swan lake, it was short but fun. Today we went on a hike up to inspiration point. First we took a boat across Jenny Lake, then we hiked up to see “visible falls”, Hidden Falls, and Inspiration point, then we hiked back around the lake to where we started. Along the way we had lunch, saw a Marmot, and had an amazing time.

Yesterday we stopped at an RV park that was next to a lake. Ben and I fished some, then we went up a road on bikes and saw a great view. Today we drove into Utah and saw some awe striking rock formations, and later at Moab we rode bikes around town.

Today we drove from Albuquerque to Red River, New Mexico. The desert was amazing, but it was nice to get into the mountains where it is cooler. On the way we stopped at Taos and got the most amazing and refreshing drink ever, half lemonade, half watermelon juice. When we got to the RV park Ben and I road bikes into town and went to a fishing/souvenir store and another souvenir store. On the way back we each bought a pack of venison jerky, that stuff is really good. When Ben and I got back we went fishing, or so we thought, apparently the fish had a day off, but you know what they say 'a bad day fishing is better than a good day working'.

Today we were on the road again, starting in Oklahoma, going through Texas, and ending up in New Mexico. In Texas we saw some awesome windmills by the side of the road, those things are huge! Later in New Mexico, near the end of the drive, we saw several clouds cover the sun as it set, it was an amazing sight.

This is so awesome! I have never been in an RV before, but it is even cooler than I imagined. Everyone seems to be having a great time and we can't wait for tomorrow.
